Providing subject matter expertise to leading Federal grants management publication

Washington, DC, January 10, 2006: TCG announced today that David G. Cassidy, Vice President of the company, has accepted a post on the Advisory Board of Thompson Publishing’s Federal Grants Management Handbook, the leading publication for government grants managers and recipients. As a member of the Advisory Board, Mr. Cassidy will provide input on Federal grants management news, trends, policies, and guidance, and will publish articles in the Handbook’s newsletter.

In his role at TCG Mr. Cassidy specializes in the implementation of enterprise-level e‑grants systems for the Federal government and provides grants management subject matter expertise to all grants-related projects. He is the co-chair of the National Grants Partnership’s White Paper Series Committee and publishes grants management news on the TCG blog (http://blog.tcg.com/tcg/grants_management/).

“The government enables incredible achievements through grant-making, from rebuilding lives devastated by natural disasters such as Hurricane Katrina to the development of powerful technologies such as the Internet,” said Mr. Cassidy. “The Federal Grants Management Handbook is grant recipients’ first stop for timely, accurate guidance on how to obtain and manage these public funds. I’m excited to work with my fellow Advisory Board members to improve Federal grants management for the benefit of the nation.”
