TCG Nears Halfway Point toward Goal of Saving U.S. Taxpayers $1 Billion

Company Documents over $429 Million Savings 

Washington, DC, July 16, 2013: TCG, a leading government technology strategy and IT advisor, has announced that it is nearing the halfway point of its big hairy audacious goal (BHAG) to save U.S. taxpayers $1 billion by 2016.

So far TCG has saved the government in excess of $429 million by automating once-costly processes, using time-saving and money-saving processes in developing code, helping the government restructure its business processes, and paying careful attention to the company’s own expenses on contracts. 

“We launched our BHAG in 2008 because we’re taxpayers too, and believe in good government that’s run as efficiently as possible” said TCG president Dan Turner. “By documenting our savings to the government through the BHAG, we not only are able to quantify how much time and money we have saved the government and taxpayers, but can also apply and adapt these proven cost-saving practices to future projects and help the government save even more money in the years to come.”
