The sun rises and sets. The tide comes in and goes out. TCG is named a Top Workplace by the Washington Post. Some things you can count on.
WASHINGTON, DC — TCG is honored to announce that the company has been named a Washington Post Top Workplace for the sixth year in a row. The award recognizes companies that cultivate positive work environments.
The Top Workplaces list is based entirely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey. Employees are asked to rate aspects of workplace culture, including their alignment with the company’s values and goals, how meaningful they find their work, and receptiveness to different perspectives and ideas within the company. More than 120,000 employees across hundreds of organizations were surveyed in late 2019 and early 2020.
“I’m proud of the work we’ve done in creating a positive culture that people want to be part of,” said Daniel Turner, TCG President. “But I know that we can do more, especially in terms of inclusivity and social equity, which are part of our mission as a B Corp. These are things we’ve always valued, and we know that there’s more to be done, as a company and as a country. I’m thankful to all of our employees for creating a positive workplace. We’re invested in making TCG an even better place to work and our communities better and more equitable places to live.”
“Now in its seventh year, the Post’s Top Workplaces list continues to highlight the companies that are leaders in the Washington area in terms of employee engagement and satisfaction,” said Washington Post Top Workplaces editor Dion Haynes. “We had a record number of employees participate in the survey this year, making it clear that these organizations have made cultivating an atmosphere of support and respect a priority.”
We won’t know the relative ranking of TCG until October due to the Post’s response to the COVID-19 impact, but the alphabetical listing of all top 200 companies can be found on The Washington Post’s website.
