TCG is excited to announce that it has been awarded a five-year task order to provide data, service desk, and program expertise to the Treasury’s Bureau of Fiscal Service Data Transparency (DT) Program. 

TCG will provide program management, Agile project management, and technical Federal Financial Management (FFM) expertise for the DATA Act Information Model Schema (DAIMS) and the Service Desk of the DT Program. The scope of work covers the USASpending.gov suite of data tools and resources. 

The Data Transparency Program helps ensure that Americans have access to information on how their tax dollars are being spent. The work of the program is directed by two laws. The first requires that Federal contract, grant, loan, and other financial assistance awards be displayed on a publicly accessible and searchable website. The second sets government-wide standards for financial data, simplifies reporting, and improves the quality of the data at USAspending.gov. 

The DT Program is a vital part of Federal data transparency efforts. This work bolsters TCG’s efforts to develop efficient, transparent, and ethical government.
