Forgive Us if This Sounds Familiar: TCG is Named One of the Best Places to Work in the D.C. Area for the Fifth Year in a Row

TCG has been awarded a 2019 Top Workplace honor from the Washington Post and is ranked 20th on the list of small businesses in the DC Metro area. This is the fifth year in a row that the company has been placed on the list, making it difficult for our marketing staff to come up with new material for these announcements. But, having to find different ways to say “Our employees think their jobs are meaningful!” is hardly an unwelcome challenge.

Over 300 companies were surveyed, with more than 61,000 employees completing questionnaires.

The Top Workplaces list is based entirely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey. Employees were asked to rate aspects of workplace culture, including their alignment with the company’s values and goals, how meaningful they find their work, and receptiveness to different perspectives and ideas within the company.

“The fact that our employees put us on this list five years running is exciting because it means we’ve created a culture with a strong sense of shared values,” said Daniel Turner, President of TCG. “We are committed to being a successful company by doing good in the world. A great workplace is not just good for our employees but also for their families and their communities. It’s a snowball effect of great things happening, and who doesn’t like snowballs?”

“The Post’s Top Workplaces list continues to reflect companies in the region that cultivate a connection with their workforce,” said Washington Post Top Workplaces editor Dion Haynes. “It’s clear from the survey that these organizations share a commitment to providing support and an environment that makes employees feel valued and respected.”
