Adoption is an amazingly selfless (and simultaneously selfish) thing to do. Adopting parents are amazing people, providing a home and family and love to a child in need. Every company should be trying to help their employees build their lives; this is one way to help make that happen.

Earlier this year we began an adoption assistance program to help our employees adopt children. Full-time TCG-ers who adopt a child are eligible for a reimbursement of up to $7,500 per adoption to help cover legal fees, court costs, adoption agency fees, and travel expenses. This new benefit is in addition to our existing three-week parental leave (paid time off) for adoptions, plus up to 12 weeks of leave without pay (more for DC residents). The adoption assistance is available immediately to all who qualify.

The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, announced today that TCG is the 3rd most adoption-friendly U.S small business and 63rd among all U.S. businesses.
