GovExec reports that three Presidential hopefuls have signed an oath pledging to support FedSpending.gov (FFATA), should they win office next year. The Oath of Presidential Transparency is being led by the Reason Foundation and Sens. Barack Obama, D‑Ill., and Sam Brownback, R‑Kan., and Rep. Ron Paul, R‑Texas, have all signed it so far.
This is an interesting development, in my view, because it might bring government procurements and funding right to the forefront of the upcoming debates: “Well, I signed it. Why haven’t you? What are you hoping to hide?”
